Andrew has begun the stage where he likes to climb on everything - onto the couch, onto the big bed, and as I've shown you a picture of, up into his high chair.
Well, I was talking on the phone and wasn't paying attention to Andrew. I could tell he was climbing up into his high chair because of the noise coming from the kitchen, but I've started to not worry about it because he's never fallen. Until this moment when I wasn't paying attention. Poor kid!
I got him to calm down, and we went to Walmart to look for a bath tub plug (we've lost ours, of course!). As we were walking around, Andrew got happier, but when he smiled, it looked like this:

You might not be able to tell, but his two front teeth on top are chipped a little bit! I couldn't believe it! After Andrew fell, he was on his back. I didn't think he had hit his front at all!
Anyway, what I guess I'm asking is this: how early is too early to see a dentist?
Sheesh. It's like I need eyes in the back of my head or something to keep track of this kid! :)
My hubby says take him to the dentist! I guess they can fix that sort of thing. He just signed a oontract to work at one of those pediatric dentist clinics. It was seriously the coolest dentist office I have ever seen. They said that they have a whole program for infants under 3. I never even knew that infants needed to go to the dentist! Crazy huh?! I hear you on the whole climbing thing though. Weston won't stop climbing, and he has at least 2-3 whelts a week on his head now! I swear people think we must beat him or something! I am hoping one of these days he will stop though! Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't take Brayden until he was 3 but I am taking Tyler at 18 months so they can put a protectant on his teeth (I am totally spacing on what its called right now!!!) I take mine to a kids only dentist though which I think its great if you can find one. They make it really fun and friendly in the office with kids movies to watch and stuff. And I hear you on the climbing too. Boys are a handful! Just be glad its a chipped tooth and not stitches!!! :)
