Is it awful that I don't like playing with my kids?
It's just... they're boys. They run around, wreaking havoc, pretending to shoot people, tackling each other, yelling and screaming, chasing each other with cars. It's exhausting to me just watching it all!
That's not to say that I don't play with my boys; I do play with them, especially when I can convince them to do something where we don't have to act like monkeys.
I am so tired of feeling like I'm not doing enough for my kids.
That's why they have a daddy too! I totally know this feeling, I get so bored and tired trying to keep up with Grant's games. YOU are the mama, teaching them to be gentlemen and reading and doing calm things and that is just fine. PLUS they all have brothers to play with!!
ReplyDeleteI feel like this with the girls I watch sometimes, and I only have them three days a week. I am always impressed by full-time moms! You are awesome.
