Hurray for Grandparents!

My mom has been telling me that she wants to help us get Andrew his new convertible car seat, which is awesome because they can be so expensive! Anyway, aside from the ones I've shown you already, I also told her about this amazing one by Graco called the MyRide 65 (click on it for more details):

It's way more expensive - on a college student's budget, but it can be used longer than most other convertible car seats. Most convertible car seats hold up to 35 lbs facing backward, but this one holds up to 40 lbs. This is also pretty much the only one that can hold a child forward facing up to 65 lbs. All others hold only up to 40 lbs. With Andrew growing the way he is, I really wanted this one.

My mom and dad checked it out, and decided that this was the one we were getting. Not only that, but they paid for the entire thing! Isn't that so great? Jason and I were getting really concerned because we're definitely far from rich, and buying any convertible car seat at all at this point would be just about impossible. What concerned us the most was that Andrew's safety might've been in jeapardy if we didn't buy one soon, and that was really making me want to cry.

All I have to say is this: Hurray for parents who love their grandchildren. And their children. I really can't thank them enough.
