What makes me unique? Read Day 29!
Anyway, I feel like I've been away from the computer for a while, but it hasn't been that long. It's mostly because I got my new iPhone, and I can do just about everything I normally want to do on a computer on it! Hurray! Except for this. I don't think I'd want to update a blog on my phone. That would take forever. Ugh.
Here are some pictures from my phone that I've taken the last couple days:
Andrew eating his pizza for dinner last night
Rolos Cookies (click HERE for the recipe!)
Jason wearing his new glasses
My sweet Davey Boy (who is becoming quite the mischievous toddler!)
Day 28 - Somewhere you'd like to move or visit
This is easy. I would LOVE to move to the Washington, D.C. area.
I love it. It's beautiful in the Spring, it's beautiful in the Autumn, and it has such rich national history there. There's a major airport (so we can fly anywhere easily), and because it's the national capitol and a major metropolis, there is a LOT to do. I don't think I would ever get bored there with the kids. We'd take public transit everywhere, just about every day, and see EVERYTHING!!!! It would be like a daily field trip!
Also, I have these kinda romantic feelings about the New England area. Whenever I think of that area, I think of beautiful Autumns, preppy clothes, and school supplies. Don't ask me why... it's just what I think of! And I would love to visit there. I'd probably love to live there too, but since I've never been there... it's probably safest to say that I would like to visit first and see if I even like it, really.
Day 29 - Five weird things that you like
Uhhhh... ?
1. I love touching the fabrics of clothes as I pass them at the store. Some people say they don't like shopping with me because I stop and touch everything. I can't help that I'm a texture person!
2. I love the feeling of being able to breathe through my nose. I know that's strange, but I've had allergies since elementary school, and dry eye for a year or so, so my nose is ALWAYS running or clogged. I love it when my nose is clear and I'm able to breathe freely.
3. I like staying inside. Living in Idaho was a bit hard for me. There was a TON of stuff to do outside, most of which I wasn't all that interested in, and not much to do inside. I've never been much of an outdoorsy person. Mention "let's go hiking" + my name in the same sentence, and I might cry.
4. I like "stalking" people from high school on Facebook. But doesn't everyone do that?
5. I like the fact that when Jason and I go out to eat, I usually stick with something pretty safe that I'm just about definite I'll like, and Jason goes out on a limb to try something new. And that when the food comes, we both usually end up liking what I have more than what Jason has. Haha.
Secret: I don't like girly tennis shoes. Whenever I buy a new pair, I avoid all the women's shoes that have pink or purple on them. Usually, I like to stick with grayish shoes that have blue or green accents on them, like my current pair. I DO have a bright red pair of Saucony's, but that's about as "girly" as I'll get.

You are tooo funny!!!I'm not certain that I would say that those are five "weird" things about you - I think they're pretty normal, but that could be because I've known you all your life, hahaha!! Wow, if you lived in DC Dad and I could visit OFTEN:):) I love that area as well for everything that you mentioned:)
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love instagram!? I don't have an iphone but I do like using instagram! Cute pics.
ReplyDeleteI like to have a clear nose too. I usually can't sleep with a stuffy nose.
During one of our visits to DC your Uncle Bill told me he would like us to retire there. He thought it would be the perfect place. There's the Metro for transportation, a baseball team with access via the Metro, a short train ride to Baltimore and more baseball, and lots and lots of great places to visit. His logic was that we probably wouldn't even need a car to get around. Doesn't that sound just like him - especially the baseball angle?
ReplyDeleteDC sounds historically great.
ReplyDeleteDavid looks a lot like Andrew in that picture!
ReplyDeleteI like to start blogs from my phone. The apps are pretty easy to use. I'll do my typing from my phone and then add in the pictures from my computer. It helps when I'm sitting around putting Kaelyn to bed.
